Bring computer-based CCO testing to your organization through Event Online Testing (EOT).

Test Groups of Candidates — On Your Schedule, At Your Site

Event Online Testing (EOT) appeals to training companies and organizations that test groups of candidates simultaneously via computer. In many cases, candidates are brought together at a single location to complete training and then test.

EOT administrations are conducted at CCO-authorized test centers — including temporary or dedicated sites you set up and have approved.

How an EOT Administration Works

Flexible Sites

EOT sites may be dedicated facilities (an employer’s office or training center) or temporary locations such as hotels or off-site venues.

Dedicated Computers

Each candidate needs a dedicated computer. Because of EOT’s flexibility, one candidate may use a device in the morning and a different candidate the same device in the afternoon.

On-Screen Materials

Any supplemental material — load charts, reference material, or calculators — is provided within the exam, on-screen.

Proctored Check-In

On test day, candidates are checked in by a physically present Proctor, then take all scheduled exams in succession.

Instant Results

Following the EOT exams, candidates receive results on-screen. Results are also emailed and available in their myCCO Portal.

Recorded for Security

Exam security is maintained by the present Proctor. Every candidate is also recorded start to finish via webcam, microphone, and screen recording.

What’s Required to Set Up an EOT Administration

Two key components are required: CCO-credentialed testing personnel and a pre-approved EOT site. The company or organization setting up the exam is responsible for providing the required personnel.

CCO-Credentialed Testing Personnel

TSC

Test Site Coordinator

Manages the test site and coordinates all aspects of the administration, including assigning on-site personnel. TSCs complete an online training and assessment to be credentialed.



One person may fill multiple roles, as long as they have completed the required training and earned the applicable CCO credential. Contracting a third-party proctor is also an option. EOT Proctors are subject to the CCO Testing Personnel Conflict of Interest policy.
