Two key programs provide financial assistance to veterans and active-duty military personnel seeking CCO certification: the DoD COOL Program and VA Certification Fees Reimbursement. DoD COOL Benefits The Department of Defense Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (COOL) program helps military personnel obtain professional certifications that align with their skills and career goals. Each branch of service (Army, Navy, Air Force/Space Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and DoD civilians) has its own COOL website, offering funding for eligible credentials, including CCO certifications. Bill. Eligible individuals can receive up to $2,000 per test (not exceeding the actual test cost), with reimbursement available for retesting as well.
