The CCO Overhead Crane Operator certification is a nationally recognized and internationally accredited program developed by industry experts. It verifies the knowledge and practical skills required to safely operate overhead and rail-mounted gantry cranes.<\/p>\n

Who Is a Overhead Crane Operator?<\/h3>\n

An overhead crane operator controls bridge, gantry and similar cranes used to lift and move suspended loads. Certified operators demonstrate competency in inspections, crane controls, load handling, rigging, below-the-hook devices, safe operating practices and proper shutdown procedures while following applicable OSHA and ASME requirements.<\/p>\n
