Program Overview<\/h2>\n

The CCO Digger Derrick Operator certification is a nationally recognized and internationally accredited program designed for equipment commonly used in utility, electrical, telecommunications, lighting, signage and construction work. Digger derricks typically use an auger and lifting equipment to dig holes and install or remove poles.<\/p>\n

Who Is a Digger Derrick Operator?<\/h3>\n

A digger derrick operator plans the work, evaluates whether the equipment is suitable for the job, properly positions and sets up the machine and safely controls its functions while considering the load and surrounding worksite conditions.<\/p>\n
